I know I’ve got a great story when I’m leaving good stuff on the cutting room floor (or the Windows clipboard). I edit everything… even voicemails. I ran across an example of some cool editing this morning. Check this guy out. He says in his video that he can’t play drums or piano. He CAN make music… all through the power of editing short snips of audio and video. This is a “story” worth listening to. It’s called: Amateur and it’s by Lasse Gjersten. I think he might have edited the whole thing a bit shorter… but regardless, this is cool. Oh, BTW, … you should ask me about a funny (and painful) voicemail editing story. It’s not for publication, though.

I’m finding this very hard to believe that the man can neither play drums nor piano. If your that good at editing and putting the notes together to make this song than you must have some music theory. No one could just ‘make’ this without some insight into drumming or playing the piano. Or with just a little practice that drum bit could easily be played with ever having to take a lesson. You all have fallen victim to another person taking advantage of your gulibleness(is that even a word??), stop being so dumb..
Dear anonymous idiot,I can neither play drums nor piano but I could piece together music in the same manner. I’ve touched a musical intstrument under 10 times in my life but I do know what sounds good.Kthx bye.
