Less is More

It was #*&%ing freezing … but my son wanted to check out the Allianz Arena in Munich when we were there a couple or so weeks ago. I took off my gloves to snap some pix. Check out what a great job Aliianz did here.. their logo stands out so incredibly crisply against the building. It competes with NOTHING. It reminds me of what Dali once said about reducing images to their pure essence.

It’s so clear, so distinct, you can even almost make out the logo in the rain puddles of the parking lot.

Marketing Doesn’t Get More Targeted Than This

The “Winston Smoking Zone” in Munich’s airport. The only thing that would have made this a more “perfect” “placement” would have been if the announcements on the loudspeakers that said smoking is only allowed in designated areas mentioned Winston by name.
